A solid consequential convulsion struck Indonesia's Lombok on Thursday, causing alarm among evacuees protecting after an overwhelming seismic tremor killed more than 160 on the occasion island four days sooner.
The 5.9-extent shake Thursday struck at a shallow profundity in the northwest of the island, the US Topographical Overview stated, even as alleviation organizations hustled to discover survivors among destruction from Sunday's shudder.
"The shudder was felt firmly. There have been 355 post-quake tremors since Sunday," national catastrophe office representative Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said.
Evacuees at a safe house in northern Lombok's Tanjung region ran out onto the street crying and shouting, an AFP columnist at the scene said.
Bikes stopped in the city toppled over and the dividers of some adjacent structures crumbled.
A lady wearing a motorbike head protector was seen crying with her two little girls in her arms.
"We were stuck in the rush hour gridlock while conveying help, all of a sudden it felt like our auto was hit from behind, it was so solid," witness Sri Laksmi told AFP.
"Individuals in the road started to freeze and escaped their autos, they kept running in various ways amidst the movement."
The delayed repercussion comes after Sunday's staggering 6.9-size quake, which alleviation organizations said had wiped out whole towns in the most noticeably bad hit locales of northern and western Lombok.
A sum of 164 individuals have been affirmed killed in Sunday's shake, national catastrophe organization representative Sutopo Purwo Nugroho told AFP, with a further 1,400 genuinely harmed and in excess of 150,000 uprooted.
