An arranged visit to Myanmar's Rakhine state, which has seen a mass migration of Rohingya Muslims, has been crossed out by the specialists, the BBC reports citing the Unified Countries.
The visit would have been the first by US authorities to the zone since brutality broke out on 25 August.
UN help faculty were purportedly compelled to leave Rakhine when the military started a crackdown on Rohingya aggressors behind assaults on security workforce.
A UN representative in Yangon told the BBC no reason was given for the move.
The BBC said the UN has been pushing to visit Rakhine to explore the flight of more than 400,000 Rohingya Muslims to Bangladesh in a month.
